# Fix database issues automatically.

Connect with OAuth. Polylane never touches your rows.

For connection steps, permissions and resource discovery, [Set up the PlanetScale integration](/integrations/planetscale/).

## Supported resources

- Database
- Database Branch

## Polylane connects your databases to the services that use them.

### Checks your production branches

Query latency, errors and volume on production branches are checked automatically. When something is off, you get an issue.

### Knows which service uses which branch

Polylane matches connection hosts and usernames, so when checkout slows down it already knows the database behind it.

### Reads Query Insights

During an investigation Polylane pulls the branch's slow queries, failing queries and latency spikes as evidence.

### Watches schema changes

New branches and schema changes are recorded. When an app breaks after a migration, Polylane checks the migration first.

### Writes the query or index fix

When the cause is a bad query or a missing index, Polylane opens a pull request with the fix on the repo behind the service.

### Never connects to your databases

Polylane reads the PlanetScale API only. It never sees your rows and never holds database credentials.

## Questions

**Is Polylane an AI SRE for PlanetScale?**

It does that job; we call it self-operating software. Polylane keeps your databases and branches in one graph with the services that query them, investigates what breaks and fixes it.

**Can Polylane change my databases?**

No. Polylane only reads the PlanetScale API, never your rows or your credentials. When the fix is a query or a migration, it goes to your repo for review.

**How do database issues show up?**

Through the services that use them. When an app slows down, Polylane follows it to the branch behind it and pulls that branch's Query Insights: slow queries, errors and latency spikes.

**Does it work with my observability provider?**

Yes. Polylane supports all the major observability providers, and you can connect any other through MCP. The full list is on polylane.com/integrations.

**What does it cost?**

Every plan, price and limit is on polylane.com/pricing.

Get started with one command: `curl -fsSL https://polylane.com/setup | bash` installs the CLI, connects your coding agents, and creates the account.
