Axiom
Connect
Connect Axiom from the terminal. Pass --help for the flags Axiom accepts.
praxen integration connect --type axiomAPI token scoped to the datasets you want agents to query.
Connect Axiom so agents can query your log and event data with APL (Axiom Processing Language).
Setup
- Find your region in Axiom → Organization Settings (US is
api.axiom.co, EU isapi.eu1.axiom.co). - In Axiom, go to Settings → API Tokens and create a new token.
- Give the token read access to the datasets you want agents to query.
- Paste the token into Praxen Inc. Praxen Inc. validates it and connects.
Your token is encrypted before it is stored, and the agent never sees it.
Connecting creates a custom webhook notifier named praxen and adds it to every monitor, so monitor alerts land in Praxen Inc. and get triaged as they fire.
What agents can do
- Run APL queries across your datasets
- Explore dataset schemas and fields
- Monitor alert statuses during investigations
Disconnecting
Disconnect Axiom in Praxen Inc., then revoke the API token in Axiom. Disconnecting removes the praxen notifier from your monitors, so drop it from Terraform configs at the same time.
Register Axiom alerts to Praxen Inc. alongside your Terraform-managed resources.
A recurring sync adds the praxen notifier to every monitor, so a Terraform-managed monitor shows drift until the notifier id is in its Terraform config too. Find the id in Axiom under Monitors → Notifiers (the notifier named praxen) or with GET /v2/notifiers on the Axiom API, then include it on each monitor:
resource "axiom_monitor" "example" {
# ...
notifier_ids = concat(var.notifier_ids, [var.polylane_notifier_id])
}
Disconnecting the integration removes the praxen notifier from your monitors, so drop it from Terraform configs at the same time.
Disconnect
Disconnecting stops every sync and check and deletes the credentials Praxen Inc. held. Everything Praxen Inc. set up in Axiom is removed as well; nothing is left behind.
